GOLF: The Antongnolla Golfcomplex is only a relatively short distance (35minutes) away. This is a very beautiful private 18 hole golf course set in a fantastic setting with excellent facilities.
TENNIS: There is a tennis court in Trestina (near the supermarket Eurospar) which is only 10 minutes away (keys may be obtained from the Cinquilli sports shop next to supermarket in Trestina), for more extensive facilities courts may be rented in Umbertide (25 minutes away, oposite the coop supermarket).
HORSERIDING : Very good stables very close by (10 minutes) in San Leo where lessons may be arranged or trips into the countryside can be organized.
WATERPARK: The Sansepolcro waterpark, apart from a large pool with diving board also has two good water slides which may be enjoyed (slides always open in the afternoon from 3.30pm).
AMUSEMENT PARK: The Mirabilandia Amusement Park near Ravenna (1hr, 30 minutes up the E45) is one of the largest in Europe and offers a fantastic selection of rides with a couple of the rides being the best in Europe.
CYCLING: Cycling excursions with lunch may be arranged, please speak to Christina.
COOKERY CLASSES: A variety of cookery classes with several different themes may be arranged, please ask Christina for more information.
HUNTING: In the months of end September through to end of January there are a variety of organized, licenced hunts happening in the area ranging from pheasant, hare, varous types of birds and of course wildboar hunting. I don't know that much about it however, would be able to find out if anyone was interested in participating.
CLAYPIDGEON SHOOTING: There is a proper shooting range very close by.
MUSHROOMPICKING: Umbria is famous for it's porcini mushrooms and truffels both white and black which can be found in the neighbouring countryside. Truffel hunting however, is big money and jealously guarded so if you are into truffels the best thing would be to buy them at the various truffel fairs which happen all around October/ November time. One of the largest fairs being the tuffel and fruits of the forest fair in Citta di Castello which is wonderful and where several restaurants in Castello change the menue and offer a large variety of courses all with truffels.
